any opinions? The Bengals are without TJ Houshmanzada(2nd best reciever) and Odell Thurman(leading tackler from last year). Plus, I dont know how we are gonna stop LJ and Arrowhead is always a tough place to play. But with Carson healthy, I still like our chances.

Has T.J. definitely been ruled out? Don't sleep on Chris Henry. And Kelley Washington has been salivating for a chance like this. I don't worry about the Bengals' offense. It's the defense I want to see. I want to see what Sam Adams and a healthy Madieu Williams can do to stop the run. That's the key. That said, it is difficult to go into Arrowhead and win, but it's not impossible.

Who'sYourMomma is definately out.  I expect to see a lot of Chris Henry.  If he can stay out of jail long enough today, he could have a good game.  And if Adams doesn't plug up the defensive middle, Larry Johnson is going to once again run through the Bengals like a raped ape.  I predict Chiefs 31 Bengals 17...

No way the chiefs D hold the Bengals under 20. I think the score will be in the 30's, and I will give the edge to the Chiefs.

You know, Snart, the last time I checked, Willie Roaf wasn't lining up for the Chiefs. I mean, that offensive line isn't as all-world as everyone thinks - in fact, Cincinnati's is much, much better. Now, I love LJ, but I don't the man is capable of creating and/or opening holes by himself. Call me crazy. He's a fine player, though. Love to have him as Rudi's backup.  :)

After seeing how Johnson ran through EVERYBODY'S defense last year, I don't think he actually needs an offensive line!  Period!!  He is a stud.  I think that the only back in the league on his level would be that Tomlinson kid in SD...

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

GMFB, I could have run for 2000 yards behind last season's line.
LJ's drunk ass will be exposed.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I hate Herm's offensive strategy.

WTF is this doing in Huggieville?

The Chiefs were going to suck anyways, at least now their marginal coach has an excuse.

That would have been arguable, but now we will most certainly suck.

This is depressing.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

God I really hope prince pans out now, I have to have at least one football team with at least minor success in order to stay sane.

I see 5-11 in the future.

The important question is how many teams will have worse records?  Have two professional teams from the same city ever qualified for the number 1 draft pick in the same year?

Defense played OK.  Offensive line was worst than K-States in their first game, especially in pass protection.

The Bengals player who laid the cheap shot on Trent Green will get his.

Only good news today was Denver lost.

It wasn't a cheap shot. It was a hard tackle that Green had coming.

How do you rationalize that? I can understand not thinking it was a cheap shot. But to say Trent had it coming? How is that?

It was pretty ballsy of Green to be running as much as he did.  He ran three times in a matter of like five minutes.  The third time it bit him in the ass.

I mean, obviously he wasn't asking for a concussion, but he was definitely taking big risks.

A quarterback slides early if he wants to avoid getting his ass kicked.

Green slid too late and thus, he got hit, hard.
