Now, if that second half doesn't prove that RonJim should get another year, I don't know what does.  In a game of halves, we beat Okla-friggin-homa 7-3 in the second half.  Remember, Bob Stoops is the prick who stole all of our assistant coaches before the end of the '98 season.  He's also the prick that put a classy full-page thank you ad in the paper when Snyder retired.  So, for a guy like Stoops, just sitting on the ball the entire second half just wasn't going to happen.  You know he was trying to run it up to 100- you just know it.  OU coaches all over on the sideline saying "we've scored 100 on PS2 before, but never in a real game."  But Tibs and RonJim stepped up and won that second half 7-3.  No way Stoops just sat on the ball the entire half.  If OU had been running out clock in the second half, they would have put in a running back worse than our running back (if they have one).

And really, we were just one play away.

We just need to execute.

We didn't win the second half; OU gave it to us. They totally eased off after halftime and just coasted knowing they had it already sewn up.

Plus OU has been mediocre second half team this entire season.

I was hoping Stoops would run it up to 100 so we could have more reason to fire RonJim.  Stoops loves having Prince here = easy win for him.  Stoops thru the 2nd half to make prince look good.  Stoops=bad KSUer...

More like KSU brought everybody to the LOS and OU still chose to  run the ball (and drop a lot of passes).

What a douchebag. You realize we are 4-4 and about to lose by a combined 50 points to ku/Mizzou.

I really think 4-8 or 5-7 are the only possible destinations for this team. 4-8 he gets canned. 5-7 he's got a chance (if he beats ku or MU with one of those games). 5-7 with a win to ISU still gets him canned imo.

You're not smart enough to realize Stoops screwed us again.  By calling off the dogs in the second half he might have saved Ron's job for another year.  Don't think he doesn't realize Ron can't coach or recruit and that it serves his team better the longer we keep Prince around.  Damn him!!!   :ksu:

I thought the same thing. If I were an opposing coach, I would build a lead and then try to maintain it. Don't go and blow the Katz out by too much. That way you dangle the carrot in front of JW and ADBK and they will keep Ronjim around for another year. This equals a guaranteed victory against us next year too. Nothing like having 5 non-conference games instead of 4.  :dancin:
