You can't be racist and like basketball.
According to him.

Quote
"Obviously I've had a pretty high standard for a number of years on the kinds of players I've been coaching and the kind of performance I'm used to looking at," Prince said, "and that wasn't the kind of performance I'm used to looking at."

****PHOTOSHOP CHALLENGE ALERT****** Can we photoshop Prince in w/T-Gunn?  A "Confident Cats" montage, if you will?

I know. Quotes like that just scare the crap outta me.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

His offensive line while ok (at Virginia), was never anything special.

Special being KSU's running attack in 2002, 2003. Did you ever see "Synder" say something like that?

In his defense, he did coach a number of players in his past that have either moved from the JUCO level to D1 programs, or from the D1 level into the NFL.  I think that his post-game comments this week were spin, he got the W and knows it was ugly.  He can't run to the hills and bitch/moan about it to the media.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Coach we don't give a F_ck about Virginia, or Jack Welch or Vince Lombardi ... we want to know about K-State.

However, at least he's upping the ante for KSU ... I hope.

He's got to believe it before any of his players do-

Still, he acts like his record speaks for itself, when he basically hasn't done crap.  Virginia was a slightly above-average program, but listening to him, you'd think he was coaching the '93 Cowboys offensive line.

I figured this crowd would like a little bravado from Coach. :)

I agree, similar to his #1 RB, I'd like to see him tone it down a bit until he "proves" it.  I always like Snyder's approach (even though he didn't often vocalize it) of; let's be the best team in Kansas, then the best in the north, then the best in the Big 12, then the best in the nation.  You have to take care of one before you can step up to the next.  Right now whether or not we are the best team in Kansas is in flux, and we all know that we are far from the best in the north based on the past two seasons of football when the north was at its worst.

I don't mind some swagger from a coach, the program needed that IMO.

I am just sick of hearing about everybody F'ing else.

Their O-line talent has been much better than ours.

Our running game talent (Roberson + Sproles) is much better than theirs.

    THE b IS NOT CAPITALIZED
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

This isn't about Huggin's or Prince talking crap.  It was about Prince talking about his experiences from elsewhere and how his perspective is created.  Huggins does the same thing.  How many times do we hear about what "we did in Cinncinati?"   That's not a bad thing, it's just what they do.
