Despite the Wildcats' abysmal offensive performance during last Saturday's 24-23 win over Division I-AA Illinois State, it appears Prince will keep his offensive line intact at 6:10 p.m. Saturday when the Wildcats play host to Florida Atlantic.

Prince found some positives to build upon. He said left tackle Nick Stringer, a redshirt freshman from Topeka, was effective in the run game but lacking in pass protection. He praised right tackle Michael Frieson. He called the play of interior linemen Jordan Bedore, Greg Wafford and Gerard Spexarth adequate.

This is one glaring difference between Snyder and Prince. Snyder very rarely had anything good to say about any of his players and never hesitated to let eveyone know when they weren't getting it done. Prince on the other hand, calls probably the worst O-line performance I've ever witnessed in person, "adequate". I'm having trouble figuring out how anyone "scary smart" could classify 1.6 YPC as adequate  :confused:

Well $hit, I can't wait to see what he has to say about the O-line performance if we crack the 100 yard mark.

My opinion would be that our line still sucks badly and he knows this, but he's not going to come out and tell everyone that.

I believe he said 3 offensive lineman were adequate not the entire offensive line performance. I'm gonna guess he knows the difference between a great, good, adequate, poor, or piss poor performance. It appears he's a positive person that tries to influence people in a different way than constant negativity. A lot of people think it's better to focus on one's strengths opposed to their weaknesses. In our society we tend to focus on the weaknesses. You can argue whether that's good or bad. I'll believe that he's not happy, he knows improvement is needed, and he's not going to just stop coaching because he believes the team is doing as well as it should.

If you didn't go the the ku-KSU game in Lawrence in 1992, you don't understand how badly an O-Line can be humiliated.  That was 10 times worse than what I saw last Saturday.
