Man my laptop on Monday decided to be :ku: and now it will work fine for about 5 minutes then it will go to an all black screen that says press f1 to reboot or F2 to do something else can't remember and when I hit F1 it wont reboot very frustrating. Should I take it in to one of the computer  :nerd: and let them have a looksy? Or has anyone else had this problem and any ideas?

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

doesn't matter how fast you are if you lose all your games again.

Get a raid 5 and fast.

Get a TRUE120, at minimum the 920's are getting to 3.6

The only limitation on air or water is heat with the i7's they have tons of headroom if cooled enough

    Romantic Fist Attachment
I had a girlfriend in college that asked me if I could somehow "hook together" her two old garbage computers to form some sort of super computer.  I told her sure you can, you just don't want to because then you end up with a bunch of Terminators running around killing everyone.

Ok so my computer died a couple months ago and I've been trying to decide on how I want to replace it.
Ideas so far:

Option 1)  iMac - I decided against this.  Don't want to learn something new (OSX) and they're overpriced.
Option 2)  Sony Vaio VGC-LV150J - Still might get this, overpriced and underpowered though.  Love the all-in-one design and "media center" system.

Option 3)  Custom Build- here's the parts list I've come up with-

Mobo
GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

Item #:N82E16814129113

Model #:F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ
Item #:N82E16820231145
$97.99 -$30.00 Instant $135.98

HDD
Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
Model #:WD6400AAKS
Item #:N82E16822136218
$74.99

Optical Drive
LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner Black IDE Model DH-20A4P-04
Model #:DH-20A4P-04
Item #:N82E16827106228
