* FAU. Cats win and score infinitely more offensive TDs than they did against ISU. Stadium announcer calls FAU "Florida International" at least four times during the game. Following the game, message boards are full of topics such as "Hey haters" and "Back on track," that speak glowingly of the improvement over the first week while ignoring the fact that FAU is a worse team than ISU.
* Marshall. Cats lose despite a gritty performance. True Fans speak of the encouraging "never say die" attitude of the team and assure everyone that the team's coming together, good things are coming, and Louisville is going to be in for a battle the next week.
* Louisville. Cats get stomped. A few of the more moronic True Fans pull a 180 and start calling, absurdly, for Prince's head. The remainder assure us that this is going to be good preparation for conference season and now the Cats know they've gotta step up and play.
* Baylor. Cats lose in Waco. True Fans get more depressed and begin posting candid stalker pics of the women's basketball team members to "cheer everyone up." Boards begin to fill with people questioning Prince's ability, given that he's been able to do nothing with all the "returning talent and experience" that Snyder left him, totally ignoring the fact that Bobby Elliot and most neutral observers have been pointing out that the Cats "returning talent" is really not all that talented. More fanatical True Fans still assure us that all the Cats have to do is beat OSU the next week, that we'll beat Mizzou b/c "we always do," that we'll win at Colorado b/c "they suck," and that we'll beat ku b/c "they suck," and we'll be going bowling.
