I did notice all DE's names getting called a lot more during the broadcast than last year.

Also, our best player is currently a former walk-on.  We were told by many (Coach Bill included) that there was a lot of experience returning.

There is a lot of experience returning.  Last-place experience.

One bright note ... KSU has more TFL's in the first game then they had for the first 3 games of last year.

This is significant when you consider that in his first start as a Wildcat, the undersized TE went against a guy who's 6-8 300 lbs and just beat him up.

This is why KSU will get better.  When the players start seeing that you can get recognized by the Conference for excellent and stellar play, they will step up.

And here I was foolishly hoping that they'd want to improve so that they could, I don't know, win some games.

Did you listen to Ian's comments after the game?  That was a 6-8 300 pound backup.  1AA backups  :jerkoff:

That's a little unfair don't you think?

They haven't been in any other games yet and I think, you know.. maybe they should play them first?
