    The very best.
We really did play smart yesterday.

Didn't use timeouts

Few Penalties

Great Special Teams

Not very many bone-head plays

That's something we didn't see in 2005, and sure as hell didn't see in 2004.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

And we won without the offense ever getting a score.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
Yeah, I would have traded a couple of false starts or delay of games for a couple offensive touchdowns.

Sometimes you just have to drink it away.

I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

It is potentially a good sign.  If these were the things that Prince targeted for improvement (as they should have been), he did a good job.  Maybe he can improve upon our other weaknesses, too.

Good points, Fatty.  Good to see some of this stuff cleaned up after the first game.  Players and even some coaches didn't seem to give a crap about these issues the past two years.

One of my biggest pet peeves the past two years was the OL taking there helmets off on the field during time outs and changing field sides after the end of the first and third quarters.  They looked so freakin' lazy and unfocused doing so.  Didn't see this happen Saturday night.

It was good to see the mental mistakes cleaned up.

Of course, the flip side of this is that, without us making stupid errors, our inability to do anything against this team reflects more on our straight-up talent level.
