Illinois State gives another team a run for their money, and we were warned they'd be tough.   It sounded like they were in our backfield all evening long and that's just not good.

Those D1AA teams can be tough on a new tradition laden program.

Go for the Win on the road and the tie at home.     We'd already had one of our starting LB's dinged up
in Kye Stewart, and our Payton Award winner (best 1-AA offensive player) candidate Laurent Robinson went down
with an injury within the last 4 minutes of the game.     I'm taking the chance at the W and trying to get out of Manhattan
without more injuries.     Yeah, I'd have like to take you guys down, but our season is more important than one game.

Still congrats to K-State on the W.   Good luck the rest of the way.
