KSU has tons to clean up.

Backside contain sucks.

Get to far up field to many times.

Tackling . . . very suspect at times.

To much leakage on pass protection.

RB's suck if they even get to the 2nd level.

on D- hybrid D with the 3-3-5 mixed in with some awesome blitz packages.
On O- whatever Freems and the genius O Coord feel like doing Louisville's D is lol.
And Special Teams need to stay special(except kickoff coverage)  :ksu:

No we shouldn't run the ball, at least not right away. We should spread them out and throw lots of quick screens. Those can be our running game. You throw freeman into the running game, and draws and the occassional run to keithen/logan. Freeman will be throwing the ball a lot, though. Especially the way our o-line has looked running the ball.

^^ prolly what we'll see in terms of game plan.  'tine and 'dold will hit them for a few draws for 5-8 yds just to keep em honest. Also see some mis-direction (spinner series maybe?!?)

'ville will definately put up points, just gotta the big negative plays (i.e. to's (good call fats) and big KO returns) out of the game completely and let 'ville keep thinking they suck.

Freemaw's heisman coming out game, imHo.   :ksu:  (can someone make a freemaw emoticon  )

My offensive gameplan would be to:

Open the running game with the pass. Three step drop slant routes and middle-screens to wide receivers. I would really love to see Lamark get a screen or two properly set up for him along with his fearless over the middle routes. We gotta get the dude into the open field if he's not going to be taking hand-offs. I love Quarles as a possesion receiver, but to get this started, I would use him as a decoy to run off a corner back or occupy a safety.

Around the second or third possession start testing off guard and tackle with Dold and see if we've softened them up at all. If we've got a lead going in to the second half be prepared to give a decent workload to Valentine and Dold in the middle. I think if we're going to try to run outside we may as well be passing it to a playmaker like Lamark or Banks on middle-screens and such.

I will need to study L-Ville a bit more before I comment on what needs to be done to stop them.

We have to get to the QB...Not just pressure..Take him down..

Also, Dold/Valentine/Woods need to combine for at least 100 yards on the ground...
