1. Texas    North Texas    Tops until proven otherwise

2. Oklahoma   UAB   Defense has no choice but to dominate

3. Nebraska   Louisiana Tech   Last time vs. Tech, Bulldogs threw for 590

4. Texas Tech   SMU   Texas tour begins with Mustangs

5. Iowa State   Toledo (Thur.)    Cyclones defense will be tested

6. Missouri   Murray State   Xavier Jackson shouldn’t be a problem

7. Kansas   Northwestern (La.) State   Don’t want this school on hoops schedule

8. Texas A&M   The Citadel   Should be a one-sided military exercise

9. Colorado   Montana State    Buffaloes’ one nonleague breather

10. Baylor   tcu (Sun.)    Unveils spread offense against tough foe

11. Oklahoma State   Missouri St.   Bears’ Terry Allen has hands full

12. K-State   Illinois State    Best I-AA opponent for Big 12 this weekend

blair jerkoff is a freakin' mongloid

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

    The very best.
ku ahead of Texas A&M. Wow.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Apparently the expectations of ku are higher than those of KSU - that in itself is refreshing and telling.   It's not unreasonable logic and Blair Kerchoff is no aplogist for ku.

ku football sucks.  KSU football sucks worse.  This is neither news nor a good thing.

    shame on you, non-believers
I still have yet to hear a good reason as to why ku should be better than K-State this year, team-wise (i.e., schedule isn't a valid reason).

Kougar...

How about the ku-KSU game is a home game for ku? That could be all the serarates them this year in the standings. ku wins this one at home.

Someone give me the logic why ku will be better.

1. Redshirt Frosh QB
2. D carried them last year and lost all the playmakers
3. No offense last year
4. Several pre-season injuries..he will play lots of freshmen per Mangie himself
5. Possible sanctions looming

The only positive is a weaker schedule.

And really, the schedule only gives them a 1 game advantage over us... outside of Texas, our Conf. schedule is just as easy, if not easier considering our home field advantages.
