You guys don't know REAL mexican food. You probably think that you can handle really hot hot sauce, too, but you don't know what REAL really hot hot sauce is either.

Never go to Omaha if you like Mexican food. I miss El Caz and La Fiesta.
mexican food in kc sux too d00dz
Hmm my parents love Salty Iguana, but mexican options in Leawood have really gone downhill since Taco Via went out of business. El Caz was an absolute staple. Number 2 going in and going out, please!

KC has great Mexican food. Just get outta JOCO and head down Southwest Trafficway and pick one. Stay out of Ponak's it's the white people mecca for mexican. Try either Taqueria Mexico, or literally EVERY restaurant that says OPEN. They are all good. The salty iquana is like sit down taco bell. Dos Reales is ok, but the good stuff is on Southwest Trafficway from rainbow past I-35. Decent BBQ also. I highly recommend this route before heading to the P&L District for a night.
