We need another poll that asks "If you aren't voting for Obama, is it because he's black?"
That's the funny part about national polling results for this election....it's isn't like someone is going to admit to the pollster that they hate "n-worders."
Should also ask "If you are voting for the messiah, is it because he is black?" Same number (at least) would answer that if they were to be truly honest.
If you are not black, there isn't any wrong with voting for him BECAUSE he is black, only the opposite. Remember when use to lock them up in chains and steal their kids from them...and then after that stopped, do you remember when we use to make them drink from separate drinking fountains and wouldn't let them vote. It's 'cause of all that stuff.
Wrong. Either way you are dividing by racial lines rather than voting on issues.
Nevermind the fact that obama wouldn't be the guy they should vote for because of slavery anyway. Remember, mom was white and dad was African and never from a slave family.
You know what divided racial lines? Slave cabins. Yep, those little shanties where we kept them when we weren't working them for 14 hours a day. We also kinda divided by race when we made them go to different schools.
Guess which school you went to back then if one parent was white and one was black? Yep, the black one. Guess which guy got hung for trying to hit on a white girl, the one with two white parents or the one with one black parent and one white parent? You think that if you explained that you had one white parent they'd let you use the white bathroom? Maybe let you use just the sink or something?
John McCain knows all about it. When he was in school there was still segregation. He has first-hand knowledge of what this country has done to black people.
Electing a black president (that's what you are even if one parent is white....white people made that rule, not black people) would do more good by that single symbolic act than any other political event in this country in last 4 decades.
