Some sort of weird egg liquor a friend brought back from one of those islands where the locals have obviously spent juuuussst a little too much time smoking the native 12 ft. tall ganja.  Looked, smelled & tasted like beaten rotten eggs.

I'm curious as to why you say that. A liquor that 'might' have psychoactive properties sounds pretty awesome to me.

It was probably the homemade version which is absolutely putrid.  It's the equivalent of what gets distilled to actually make the real thing which is much better.

that crap's great

i'd say the worst are:  vermouth, B&B, brandy

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I order a Bombay Sapphire martini with NO vermouth because it's usually cheaper than Sapphire on-the-rocks, great stuff.

The only liquor I could think of that would be worse than vermouth would be the fermented juice of Mangino's towel.

Absinthe is quite potent. Its kind of like sprite that leaves a firey gasoline taste in your mouth. best way to describe it imo.

i've drank a whole ton of the stuff and never gotten anywhere near hallucinating. its so strong you usually black out before you might have a chance to hallucinate.  but it is absolutely disgusting.

Because Absinthe is nasty.... It has nothing to do with the effects.  Hell, drinking Round-Up can give you the same affect.

Qft. Doesn't really have the whole "from hell, Johnny Depp" affect that it's notorious for.  Imo, nothing more than a sh*tty Jagermeister.  Which brings me to my contribution to the thread: Jagermeister.

No, don't remember what kind it was. Did you do the whole "burning sugar cube" thing? I would assume it tastes a little better that way.

Also, if you take a small sip it tastes a bit like black liquorice.

I think jager and absynthe taste similar. The sugar does make the drink a lot more tolerable.

Any vodka that comes in a plastic bottle.

There is such a vast discrepancy between cheap vodka and expensive vodka it's ridiculous. The same can be said for tequila. OTOH, I can drink cheaper whiskey and not be gagging constantly.
