Interesting Situation.
Jason King aka Lew Perkins Piss Boy.   Writes the article saying that an un-named former ku grad assistant involved in ku's extensive cheating claims in that article that Mark Mangino had nothing to do with the situation (smirk ... right).

Keitzman says its Mitch Running and that Running has contradicted himself from an interview with Keitzman a year prior.   Squawks claim it was really a 3rd grad assistant (because King in his article names the "other" grad assistant, not Running, who is now at LSU) who is the Deep Throat in King's article. (Deep Throat: also an act Jason King performs on Lew Perkins daily).

Funny thing is ... NCAA rules clearly state a coaching staff can only consist of a head coach, 9 assistants and 2 graduate assistants.  Squawks claim it was the "film guy".   Well, Film Guys aren't grad assistants ... so Lew Perkin's piss boy doesn't know the difference between a grad assistant and a video guy??

Or ... ku really did have a 3rd Grad Assistant ... possibly another NCAA violation???

The "Blame all of our cheating on KSU" Club meets at ku every other Wednesday.

Jayhoax is Co-Chairman with NotaPuke ... Kansass Forever is refreshment chairman,  Moose is co chair of the "excuses sub-committee".

Former Kansas graduate assistant Mitch Running is upset that a local radio host has accused him of discussing ku’s NCAA violations with The Star.

Running said he had no involvement in the wrongdoing and was never interviewed about the situation by the NCAA. He also said his name does not appear in ku’s self-report to the NCAA.

“It irritates me that someone would make that assumption,” said Running, one of three graduate assistants on ku’s 2003 football staff. “I went to (grad) school at Kansas and still have a lot of friends there. I don’t appreciate people trashing me and dragging my name through the mud. Someone didn’t do their research.”

So Mitch says Keitzman is full of crap.

So, we can then conclude that either Lew Perkin's piss boy doesn't know what a Graduate Assistant Coach is or  he just flat out lied or ku had a third grad assistant (when the NCAA says you can only have 2 Graduate Assistant Coaches) coach or Mitch Running is lying???????

Were did you get that quote?  I foun it interesting that even they referred to Mitch as "one of three graduate assistants on ku's 2003 football staff" 

Also, Are you sure about the only 2 GA's Thing... I've never heard that.

11.7.2 (1-A) NCAA bylaw states Reply

There shall be a limit of one head coach, 9 assistant coaches and two graduate assistant coaches that may be employed by the institution in Division 1-A football

The third isn't technically a coach.

Or ku was trying to slip in a third grad assistant coach as a "video guy".  

Sure seems strange though, that a coach that is demanding Bill Snyder like control of the football program as a part of  his so called contract extension negotiations ... doesn't know when a graduate assistant coach/video guy is cheating to get recruits eligible.

Also really sad to see a beat writer at a so called major newspaper so beholden and controlled by his subject.
