With the Cartier's, Hoskins, & Massey's etc. Wooly just lost out on a couple of players. For instance:
Sidiki - Went to go play ball oversees. 7'1". Volleyball player.
Kenny Williams - Was going to come to manhattan until wooly was fired. Then opted to go to Ole Miss. Had a good career there. Led the SEC in rebounds. Would've liked if Kenny stayed with us. Much better than all three players huggy brought in with that 2006 class anyway. Plus inside presence in 06-07 & 07-08 seasons would've been nice.
Carlos Morais - Just went for twenty four points against U.S. in olympics. Decided to stay oversees.
I know Wooly wouldn't of been able to coach these guys even if they did make it in purple & white.
But still, what could've been!!
