Is it any coincidence that both Isaac Hayes and my Xbox 360 both died on the same weekend?  What are the chances?

ya, RRoD.  i have the product replacement plan from best buy so just need to swap it out.  want to upgrade to the elite but they said they'd charge me $100 to transfer my data to the new HDD.  lame.

Go to ebgames and ask to borrow a transfer cable.

Can't back up via memory unit? or whatnot?

lots of rock band songs, save points from my games, some demos, some other crap i downloaded.  my profile, etc. some xbox live arcade games i bought.

thing is, the xbox died before isaac hayes, which tells me that i indirectly killed isaac hayes by playing my xbox too long and letting it overheat.
