Would anyone be up for this? I'm not familiar with the bars around KC/OP/Whatever.

I think it would be cool to have an un-official KSUFANS meeting place for basketball and footblal road games, now that Huggins is the coach and I have a better chance of not getting piss drunk and getting horribly pissed off in a public place.  How about it? Brews, Wings, and KATPAKS[/i]?

it would be pretty funny to do it in lawrence.  I like Jeffersons there, but it might be hard to get kstate games on...so might have to go to a bigger place like buff wild wings or set em up jacks.

in johnson county i like Johnny's Tavern, Mickey's, and Freddy T's.

Let me rephrase..I was thinking about picking a place in KC and/or Topeka to rotate between.  Lawrence folks could come to either, but I wouldn't want to hold it there.

Make it happen.

Lawrence would be a good central meeting place for KSUFANS shindings, but it is..enemy territory.

How do people feel about meeting somewhere around the Legends/Nebraska Furniture/Cabelas clusterf___?  That would be more convienent for the manhattan/topeka crowd, and not too out of the way for the KC crowd.

I was talking about the exit on I-35.... I didn't know ther was an actual town!  Pizza Hut will work.  Closer than KC anyways.   ;)

There's this fine establishment that plays sports quite often in that area.  I believe it's called "Hooters" or something of the sort.

Lawrence would be the ideal location...

...But it's such an EVIL location...

However, if we were to show up en masse we could probably take a bar over and force the staff to put our game on.  That'd be pretty sweet.

I think there are places in Lawrence we could make work as long as the Hawks don't have a game the same night...out here on the west side, especially.

The Legends area is also a good idea...it's only about 40 minutes from Topeka, 20-25 from Lawrence.

MINSKY'S &@#%ING DOWNTOWN!!!

I'm not sure about the new places out by the race track in Wyandotte County but I do know there's a lot of them, just not sure if any of them have been taken yet by other fanbases.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I'd like to try Minskys.

Perhaps we could just rotate places.  I'm open for suggestions, as long as people are actually interested in this.

I'm kind of bleah on Legends. Location-wise it would be nice, but as far as places it's bleah. Yardhouse is nice because they serve Delirium Tremens otherwise bleah. The places have no atmosphere.

Meeting up at T-Rex would be pretty sweet, since we all love dinosaurs as much as we love K-State athletics and all.

I take it Legends is not well received?  The only reason I thought of that was place was location.  To get to KC for the Topekan/Manhattanites would be nearly an extra half hour.

Don't be so down on legends.  There's like 30 restaraunts out there now.  I'm sure we could find something.

Where the &@#% is Minskys?

I still like the idea of a hostile takover of a Lawrence bar.

Yard House offers a unique variety of draft beer ranging from 130 to 250 tap handles, signature martinis, premium spirits and celebrated wines

The food is good and the brew (for those who partake) is cold.  Good crowd too.

Yes, the Yardhouse has a lot of beers, but the cheapest is going to run you $4.50 for a pint, I believe. DT is $5.50-$6.50 for a goblet.
