The whole "star" voting system for posts is so sixth grade. Also, if you post something too controversial, expect to get repeatedly one-starred by the rabble. Even dumber, if you are merely the bearer of bad news, in the form of a link that one of our players is going to jail or something, the sheeple will one-star you to death. Finally, the mob is generally too braindead to grasp fine subtleties and will one-star you because they don't get what you said.
I had a bunch of dudes trash my good-natured post because I implied I would rather be partying on Mass St. with 80,000 of my closest friends after a National Championship than standing in line filing out of the Alamodome with 20,000 p***ed-off Memphians. I was promptly put in my place by all the snotty suburban kids whose parents paid for them to spend a week in San Antonio. God forbid us poor rural folk have fun somewhere else.
Oh, and all the new posters who think they can outsmart Earthdog, and don't realize that Tom doesn't ban him because he is a massive draw, not just to the site, but to the premium forum where he can't get away with as much. Yeah. You people suck.
