Agreed... A&M is tough at home, but with a new coach they might be a bit vulnerable next season.  I predict K-State to go 8-4 or 7-5... undefeated in the non-con, with conference wins over A&M, Nebraska, Iowa State, and Colorado.  Just depends on how improved K-State is on the o-line and on defense.

My personal opinion is we will be somewhere in between. We'll blow a game we shouldn't and we'll snag a W where we shouldn't. I'm thinking, 7-5. With this schedule and all the newcomers would not be shabby.

Yeah patton didnt impress me much either but still would have been nice. It scares the sh1t out of me that we have a new walkon that will be are starting rb in the big 12. And I think bubba if he does actually make it here is a few years down the road from being awesome.

added more depth w/ recruits and also ppl coming back from/off of injuries and suspensions. the returnees will be use to the 3-4 ian is moving back to his rightful spot.  calvin=clogger and I think the whole dline will fill up the trenches. LB's they look like they could be sick. Corners are a question mark as is the whole secondary. But I am hoping they will get it figured out.

Patton is not much of an inbetween the tackle type runner. He can bounce it outside and burn you but he would have to be taken out on 3rd and shorts for someone like valentine so basically not an everydown type of back.  I agree on the Juco's except for a couple calvin, irvin, ulla, and I think felder will be really good also if healthy. sekona I think will be decent coming off the bench like I said though we added a bunch of needed depth.

No I'm not sure it does this year. Even if Patton is available I don't think he's the type of back that demands more attention from the defense, especially with the type of offense that we'll be seeing. I think there is an opportunity for role-players in the backfield to be effective.

I like the idea of a back that can catch, but I'm not sure who that could be. How would you rate Patton's hands? The stat book has him down for 21 receptions last year.

I really don't feel that away about the TT game, fatty. Since they do return ten starters on offense and this will be harrell's third year as starter in TT's offense.

I "might" have that feeling that prince should be canned if we lose to Louisville. Second year coach with sh1tty first year last year and losing his top two WR's & his QB. Not to mention Louisville will be very vulnerable on defense. But still @ PJ stadium, plus it's hard to base prince's coaching career at ksu with a W or a L against a big east team in the non-conference. It's just looking like a very winnable game though.

That early in the season, the only game that would make me think/hope prince would be fired if we lose is that UL game. Even then, that's a BIG if.
