they've got time to work camps, play summer league, pump iron . . . so I'm thinking a few folks in the clearinghouse, at the Apex Academy RV and points beyond are about to get a "bonus".

I miss Roy and the good, smart kids he used to bring in. Why does Selff have to recruit stupid people and thugs who either beat up women or impregnate them and refuse to pay child support? Here's to you Wayne (Roy recruit)  :beerchug:

I think the real question is . . . how many years does it take to pass 1 "core" course??

Glad to see your staying up to date on big brother.

Doesn't the Mercury ever give you dolts anything to talk about?  Does it always have to be about the Jayhawks?  Good Lord.  :yuck:

The Morris twins saga is getting ridiculous.  At this point, I'm preparing myself for a steady dose of Kleinmann.

It's pretty much too late for them to be here first semester isn't it?  I mean, even if they get done with their work, they still need to get through the clearinghouse right?  School starts in like two weeks.  They will probably join the team late a la Sutton and Samuels this year.

    The very best.
yeah, ksu summer class just ended today (dom sutton seen celebrating drinking diet coke), and fall starts the 24th.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I think it's ridiculous that you even think there's a chance they won't be eligible before semester starts.  It's going to fracking happen, one way or the other.

Stop stalking this board, it is kind of creepy.  You should be complaining about the coaches poll and its collective dump on ku football.

Why would a ku fan worry about this??

Checking accounts are having money wired in to them right and left all up and down the eligibility chain on this one.

Apex Academy is even looking at a bigger RV to hold "classes" in.

In all seriousness, if they are still currently doing classwork and somehow get cleared by the NCAA in the next two weeks, how could anyone think it's on the up and up?  Especially given their recent history with cheating.

If KSU, NU, MU, UT, OU, or even ATM went 12-1 and won the Orange bowl, they'd be a hell of a lot higher than 13 the next season.

think about it.  Sucks doesn't it?  Don't worry though, KSU used to be in ku's boat.  crappy schedule, good record and still disrespected the next year.  Throw together 8-10 consecutive bowls and play a decent schedule and it will work out.

Any team that lost three All-Americans, a 1,000 yard rusher, a 1,000 yard receiver, its starting right tackle, tight end, punter, and kicker is going to drop a few spots.  #13 is pretty respectable, IMO.

it's pretty messed up to be honest, the whole reason they went to Apex Prep was to complete their highschool homework and qualify.  the reality is they've been trying to qualify for almost 2 yrs now.  somehow through all of that, i still beleive they will be playing for ku this fall.

You really need to learn to not bite.  You do realize you are reacting to people saying that ku at #13 is both overated and underated in various threads?  This board has your arguing in circles.    :runaway:

Yeah... which is why I took a 2-month hiatus for a while.  Maybe I need another one.

From whomever wrote this, the quote thingymajig doesn't seem to work well

No, but I will tell you what would suck.  If K-State won the Orange Bowl in 2008 and the NCAA Basketball Championship in 2008 and I had to try and rationalize why ku was better.  Now that would suck

National Champs and you still lost at Bramlage.  Orange Bowl winners but you didn't play a road game for the first half of the season, avoided playing OU or UT and couldn't even win the crap North division of the conference.  Some may call that rationalization, others may call it LOL@ku.

"National Champs and you still lost at Bramlage. "

Hey,  everyone has to lose at least once every 20 years or so on their opponents home court.  You are right though.  I was so happy about the ku Championship until you mentioned that we lost at Bramlage this year.  That really sours the championship.  THANKS  :crybaby: :-[
