According to my source, which I won't divulge, and confirmed by another, albeit less credible source, Allen Evridge is badly injured. By badly injured, I mean not to the point he can't throw a ball, but bad enough to affect his play significantly. Also, his injury requires surgery that will end his season.

According to slightly less reliable information, it is his left hand, which is his throwing hand.

Apparently AE felt that if he took the surgery and sat out this year without being our starter, he would likely never get another chance to start at K-State ever again. Quite frankly, I agree with that line of thinking.

The fact that he won't be on scholarship this semester at UW is not suprising, given this information. I don't care if they said they are out of schollies, I think it's spin.

Now, for those of you that have been blindly ripping into Prince, shame on you. There are a multitude of reasons he might have let the media run with this, not the least of which is that he isn't allowed to comment to a great degree.

Shame on me.   :peek:

We need a frowny face smiley(?).

so, what was the point of cleaning out his locker then?  just a little more kicking while the guy was down?  perhaps AE didn't feel bad enough?  I also wonder why AE wanted to stay on defense and play if he knew he was sooo badly hurt...

    THE b IS NOT CAPITALIZED
Sounds like a bs rumor considering Evridge asked to play defense.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

yep, they are forgetting thqat fact.   they are also forgetting common sense, why would those other teams waste a schol on a guy that has limited elgability and coming off a serious injury?  iti sn't like he is some big name 5000 yard passer or something, it's just little ol AE

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Goldy,

AE was considering the move to the defense side.  Get your facts straight.

you know another reason this rumor is BS is because why would AE put himself into a position where he might have to pay for his won surgery?  if he's on schol at ksu they pay for that.  What if he got his release, couldn't find anyone to take him and then had to have surgery?

people are just grasping at ways to throw these kids under the bus to protect princey boy

Well, if K-Staters are throwing these kids "under the bus" we've had plenty of material and examples to use from Cornhole country.
