dax,

What's up with the whole phag.net deal?  You know, there are gays and lesbians at both schools and some are football fans.

You don't have a subscription so why bother with a link ... but wait, given your obsession with all things KSU sports related,  you just might have subscription.

So let me see here ... you just said that you don't post on phag.net ... which is completely obsessed with KSU, as is kusports.com because they're too rah-rah ... and then you're ragging on K-State fans on KSU BBS's because they're too Rah-Rah??

The Irony.

No, thats not what I'm saying at all.

On phog there is only so much to say as its just discussion usually. I DO post on phog. I have 939 posts over there. But I don't chime in unless its an argument.

You could only find one link of someone bashing prince and it was an unconfirmable post on premium?

The board I got that post from has thousands of posts and lots of new topics everyday, I am not going to spend all day going back through posts to find the ones that were ragging on Prince (which was going hot and heavy last week) just to prove to some pissant whose obsessed with KSU that people were ragging on Prince.

If you don't want to believe that people were ... so be it.

Go rag on Bill Self all the time on Phag net GoldenShowerGangBang and see how long you last.  Afterall, the guy just lead some of the best basketball talent in the country to two sterling first round exits from the NCAA tourny.

Yep, and it's no different than the current situation. Allegations have been made against Prince which nobody really knows the other side of the story. Several left feeling jilted, a very large percentage of players stayed. Numerous KSU fans have not been happy with the situation and have voiced their opinion about it. Every KSU fan is going to continue to support the program though and some will be more fervent in their support than others.

Yeah ... and that doesn't mean I am not going to quit calling Phag.net ... Phag.net.

Look - I thought it was low of Prince to do what he did with AE, but I do realize I , as a fan, have no idea of what really went on.  Prince is our coach and I can't do anything to change that, so i'll just have to support him and his decision.

I also agree with the sentiment that JF should be the starter from DAY 1. He is the most talent QB on the roster.  If we get lucky, 4 years down the road, he'll be a first day NFL draft pick, because he has all the physical tools to get him to that level...as a freshman. Let's see how he can run an offense, and lead a team.

Goldy did post in the premium board of KSF.  I remember.

Thats because I had free access for two weeks.

I didn't pay a dime.
It wouldn't matter even if it was free.  It still reeks of obsession.

It was free.

And it was entertaining. I wouldn't call it obssesive though. Sean had posted a 'first ten replies get free premium' and after around three some hours it still wasn't done. Not enough had replied yet. So I did.

And I entertained myself for a couple weeks.

Unlike Dax, the 'obsession' isn't there enough to pay for a rival's messageboard.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

While you continue to rack up posts on KSU boards, the best defense for your obsession is to continully point out what I did 2 years ago.

That's pretty sad.

Your obsession cost you money.

My 'obsession' cost me... nothing.

The time frame in which you paid is immaterial.

Well so much for the Freeman talk.

But I can't help but point out that Huggins issues with the NCAA happened at Cincy.  When they happened most K-State people couldn't have given a flying F about Cincy.

When K-State's in-state, in conference rival gets hit with 10 Major Violations, LOIC, academic fraud and fails to report over 20 secondary violations ... we tend to pay a lot more attention.

Funny how that works, but you can never underestimate the stupidity of SquawkLogic.

And we tend to pay attention when you hire a coach that has gotten himself in the same trouble.

Funny how his baggage follows him, Kstate fans defend him, and then mock us for defending our coaches.

Its just a little ironic.

LOL!!

One main difference.

Bob Huggins hasn't done anything wrong at KSU ... Mark Mangino ... is ku's current football coach.

The Bob Huggins situation happened what ... almost 10 years ago ... ku just met with the NCAA and tried to lie there way out of any additional sanctions I am sure.

Time frame, relevance ... location.

Time frame and location make no difference.

Its the same man.

Kelvin Sampson isn't clean just because he left OU where he did his dirty deeds.

Hmmm ... 2 years, 10 years ... 2 years, 10 years ... can you even count Goldie??  When did the NCAA rule on Kelvin Sampson, when did the NABC rule on Kelvin Sampson ... is OU being sanctioned RIGHT NOW because of Kelvin Sampson??

Now change Kelvin Sampson to Bob Huggins and change OU to Cincy and ask the same questions??

Next up ... Goldie will defend the financial hijacking of the Chalmers family, replete with ku created timelines to "prove" everything on the up and up.  T

I'm not saying Ksu should be on probation.

I'm saying you hired a man with baggage that put his old employer in trouble.

Its just funny that you throw stones at Mangino for being dirty when your coach is as well... and no amount of time washes those old stains away. Your time frame argument is dumb as hell.

So you're going to label Mangino a cheater from here on out then correct? No matter how much success he has, he will always be known as a cheater by Goldy.

Once a cheater, always a cheater...

He's not going to be able to clean himself of it, no.

Should Mangino get fired or leave for greener pastures some day anyone hiring him is going to consider what he did to put ku on the ncaa's list.

Nope.

And why did you only include 13 years?

You should go back the whole way.

I bellieve that Freeman was pretty much promised to play as a freshman. As I new guy comming in I would have done the same thing in order to bring in a quality athlete to build around. Have no Idea about this year but think KSU will be much better next year and year after. Hey this is now Princes program to either swim or sink. He clearly understands that and is going to call the shots that favor him and this program. Folks will forgive a slow start this year. Maybe a second year but not the third! Doesn't give a ****
Its funny that Evridge went from a damn good quarterback and an upstanding human being to a liar and pathetic quarterback just for saying that he didn't feel he received a fair shot at quarterback.
I never thought Evridge was a damn good QB.  He had no business starting last year.  Webb screwed his career with his lackadaisical attitude.  When Webb cared and prepared he played well.  He just didn't have the work ethic to be a D1 QB.  Evridge tried hard and played hard - he just doesn't have enough talent.

Oh and just so its out there again.  Meier isn't good enough either.  This season totally depends on Freeman's development.  If he stalls out and Meier is the man the KSU will be just like the last 2 years.

Pure unfounded speculation.

Freeman is good and other qbs aren't as good.

AE,Webb & Lopina were running qbs designed for the option run.

No one comes in without even one year of redshirt experience and takes the starting position as quarterback from two very good QBs(Lopina and Evridge).

No one.

He would have had to blow them out of the water and nothing at all indicates that he did.

Did you see Evridge and Lopina at the Spring Game?  I did.  Lopina looked like horse dung, and Evridge looked alright....but to be honest, I though Freeman looked the best of all the QB's.  His fade throw to Jordy in the corner, and his dart across the middle (with only a TINY window of err with which to work) to Juice were beautiful.  Some of the best throws I've seen from a KSU QB in a while.
