Freeman is going to be better in a year or two, currently I'm not sure he is there.  Prince didn't run them off to make an easier decision, this makes no sense.  If he was going to start Freeman than he was going to do it regardless of the roster.  Lopina left because he doesn't ahve experience and only has a year on the young prospect, not favorable.  Webb's scholarship pretty much wasn't renewed, but I've heard he has of the field problems and this was long before RP was there, also, he is an option QB.  Everidge's transfer is the one that worries me, but we will see how it turns out.

Yes, they were. Evridge was a FRESHMAN behind a very crapty offensive line and set a record for passing.

Its not impossible but highly unlikely. Freeman would have to prove that he doesn't need even one year of redshirt experience(even Vince Young redshirtted for a year) and that he can make up for the lack of game time experience compared to the others.

And two quarterbacks expressed that they weren't getting a fair shot. Where there is smoke, there is fire. I find it funny that so many are more than ready to dog the players that leave calling them slackers and quitters although the players gave their reason... and since its negative to Prince, the slick talking, scary smart newcomer it must not be true. For the sake and pride of Kstate football, it had better not be true.

Actually, there are a lot of fans, me included, that will not excuse what happened.   No one really knows what MM did or what he really knew, but it is his program and he takes the heat.  Having said that, we will support what MM has done in re-building the program.   This does not mean we defend the allegations.
