Wait a minute...Is Keitzman talking about Morgan Freeman?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Didn't hear KK today, but of course JF starting at some point is very likely, either because he earned it, or he "earned" (as in it was promised to him), or by default if DM gets injured.

Replayed the show at 5:30pm

Said Freeman was way better than Everidge and Lopina and they knew it too.

I think he said Freeman has looked really good in practices. Don't know if he said if he was better than Meir though.

I thought that was interesting spin KK put on things:  "If KSU has lost quarterbacks who will likely start at other BCS schools, then how much better must Freeman be?"

Freeman is going to be another Vince Young, but with more finesse.

Of course, to borrow from MrWhite, I also told him that Tim Floyd would replace Asbury.  Oopsie.

There's not much doubt from everything we've seen and heard over the last few weeks that Freeman's on track to be starting very soon.  As KK said today, all things being equal, you're going to go with the younger guy...more upside.

I agree.  Freeman is the real deal from my spies in Manhattan.   Imagine if Roberson was so good at that age...  oh wait..

ofcourse he has the edge in the battle, everyone else in the battle has been removed except a guy who can't stay healthy.  this entire situation was tailor  made for freeman and it stinks

    THE b IS NOT CAPITALIZED
Not sure why they are pissed about it.

In order to 'steal' Freeman, Prince had to promise him starting time at QB.

3 other QBs left because of this.

Freeman came and with Prince's help, gave the program a cancer.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Conjecture and supposition.

Squawker, you're concerned.

Thanks for playing.

It is possible to connect the dots and come to the conclusion that RP basically ran off Lopina, Webb, and Evridge in order to make it an easier decision to start Freeman.  I am not saying that is what RP did, but the ways things have played out makes this scenario plausible.

they won't play for Freeman as he isn't a leader.  Leaders don't need to ascend to their position by backroom handshakes and dirty dealings.

    THE b IS NOT CAPITALIZED
Its not just plausible. Its the truth.

Think about this series of events as unbiased as possible:

1. Four quarterbacks are on the roster.
2. A new, young quarterback is recruited by a new coach.
3. Three of the quarterbacks leave.
      -Why?
a)The new QB already proved himself to be far and away better. (Down 10 shots of the purple kool-aid to believe this)
b)They don't want to play for the new coach. (Drink 10 shots so that the question 'Why not?' never occurs to you and its easier to just call the players slackers)
c)The new quarterback is favored in an obviously unfair manner.(Drink 20 shots so you can ignore this and #4)
4. Two of the quarterbacks that left hint to the media that they didn't receive a fair shot.
5. One of the quarterbacks transfers to a new college that already has four quarterbacks.

The answer is right under your nose, kicking you in the junk.

Hell, the former players said the damn answer themselves.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Pure unfounded speculation.

Freeman is good and other qbs aren't as good.

AE,Webb & Lopina were running qbs designed for the option run.

No one comes in without even one year of redshirt experience and takes the starting position as quarterback from two very good QBs(Lopina and Evridge).

No one.

He would have had to blow them out of the water and nothing at all indicates that he did.

A fusker who is better about the thought that JF is gonna be a stud (wearing purple not red), OR  a stupid squawk who thinks he knows all of the inside info happening at Ksu.

Ding ding ding ding ding.  If he doesn't get hurt and stays for 4 years he will be the most prolific quarterback in KState history.  Yes, I will go on the record with that claim.
