Royals at the Trade Deadline

We go to some Omaha Royals games.  Why don't the good players come here!?  They suck and always have sucked.  When Ryan Shealy is your best player you suck the big one imo fwiw iirc.

I dont usually make excuses for teams but I really think some guys that get sent there have bad attitudes about being there.  Not that they have attitude problems towards the game, but that facility is a dump.  I delievered the equipment there before the season started and that place is not suited for a AAA team.  I have heard though that they are working on building a new stadium for them though, and I know for a fact that the KC front office is more than satisfied with the relationship there. 

By the way Kelvin Herrera was just moved up to low A burlington iowa.  Watch this kid in the next two or three years.  Overpowering fastball and filty offspeed.  He looks like his still in middle school but the kid can throw the ball.

Rosenblatt is kind of a dump but it's the home of the CWS so it has that going for it.  More the area it's in than the stadium.  They are building the new CWS park down by the Qwest Center where the NCAA tourney games were played (Also a crapty area).  The Omaha Royals don't want to play there because they don't need that much seating.  They are kinda getting dicked around by the city of Omaha on the building because they are bending over backward for the CWS and not listening to anything The O Royals have to say.  The O Royals are now looking at a site in Sarpy County, NE which is in SW Omaha and where we live.  I would love for them to build a new/smaller park there as we (mrs. dave and I) would go to many more games.  Sarpy County has stated publicly that they would like to assist in making that happen.
