Does anyone seriously think Beasley will ever play for K-State?   Reply
I have my doubts. This kid seems like a mercenary, as evidenced by his switch from Charlotte to K-State when Thuggins hired his HS coach. He could be the kid who plays in Europe for a year and then enters the NBA draft.

I think he will end up at KSU. Mayo and Walker are kids that might not every step foot on a college court.

If he does end up there, he'll go 15 and 8, and be one-and-done. Barely causing a blip on the college basketball radar.

I'd say thier is a 70% he enrolls at Charlotte and an 85% percent chance he honors that commitment and a 95% chance he goes to KSU, but of course a visit to Manhattan Kansas could change all of that.

roll

Who knows guys- the fact that he just made the jump to #1 on the rivals.com 150 says a lot- and while he was already getting major pub after the summer AAU season, he is going to be getting looked at for a lot of new things. All those talks about players going to Europe to play an international circuit there wouldnt surprise me. He doesnt strike me as a kid who cares about where he goes. i.e. loyalty to a program does not seem like its #1 on his list of priorities.

From linked article:

"Beasley told Rivals.com on Aug. 1 that he couldn't find Manhattan on a map."

I still think there's a better than 50% chance he ends up there, though.

He was probably looking at a map of cities/towns that have a basketball team. No wonder he couldn't find Manhattan.

I think Beasley ends up there. Fitzgerald was on 810 talking about KSU's QB situation. He also talked about Walker and he thinks Billy will come to Manhattan too. rolleyes

    The very best.
Nice, I really wanted to read this thread.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
