Did you like Rednex and Cotton eyed Joe too?  They really are the reason these guys are around in the first place.  Pure ripoff of that genius group.
Here's hoping that Clams is chillin' with someone cool up in that big EMAW in the sky. RIP Clams, RIP.

i'll be honest, i'm basically a band wagon fan of dkm's.  i love shipping up to boston.

flogging molly, although not really my thing, is a pretty cool band.  i've like them for years but, agreed, i gotta be in one of those moods.

Actually, this might be a nice "new topic", worst one hit wonders from the last ten years?  I'd start it but haven't developed enough ksufan cred to make it work.  SD, worthy?

Gaelic Storm is much better music imho.

i've seen Gaelic twice, once at Irishfest and then a show at the Beaumont.  they put on a great shot (the fiddler is hot imo), but i wouldn't consider them "punk".

Didn't mean to compare their style, which is why I said "much better music".  I see they are scheduled for Irishfest again this year and I'm hoping to make it, I've never seen them live.

pretty sweet atmosphere, and very very very easy to sneak in booze.
