    The very best.
Which side of stadium more needs a new facade?

East or West? I say east (new side) it looks like it's still being built.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

They both need it equally, but the west will get it first.  East will follow the next time Bobert feels like spending fifty million dollars.

I will go east. Agree that it looks like it's still being built. It shouldn't cost that much to make it look "finished" should it?

Ah yes, the East Side Facade, another in the long list of bumbling short sighted decisions made by a K-State Athletic Director.

Just think, if Mediocre Max hadn't cut the East Side project to the bone because he was basically a chicken$hit.   We'd have a more aesthetic looking addition, with restrooms for the upper level and paid for in 1998 dollars.

In fact, had Mediocre Max had taken the full credit line that the Board of Regents would have allowed K-State to sell in bonds, K-State could have had a nicer east side expansion, done a bunch of improvements to Vanier including the North Endzone, and still had money left over for things like the limestone wall around the field.

Now, K-State will pay for those things at 2008+ costs.

Dax, I love your little nicknames for all the athletic directors.  Timid Timmy, Mediocre Max, etc.  Descriptive and humorous.

Had we spent the additional monies in 1998, we all would have been complaining about the increased ticket prices ever since.

Better than complaining about the current ticket prices with nearly nothing to show for it.

Why would they need to increase ticket prices.   They could've refinanced the bonds several times and saved millions.

WHEN are we going to get rid of those extremely trashy city park bleachers that sit atop the concourse?  Seriously, it's time to ditch those.  It was time to ditch those after we built the east side edition.  And the permanent north end zone seats.

That's where I sit when I buy my ten or at the most twenty dolllar tickets (no season fball tickets ever). Please don't take these seats away from me. I won't be able to get me and ten of my friends in the same row for a hundred bucks.

Maybe you and your ten friends should stop making our stadium look so bushleague, then I'll listen to your cries.  Hey, you could always sit up at the entrance to Bramlage and see half the field.
