BT, you're not completely worthless, but damn.

The biggest problem is that you don't bring the usual level of squawktardishness and therefore you're not all that funny.

ku's recruiting has them beating out teams like Wisconsin, Michigan, Louisville, Texas Tech, Purdue, Nebraska, and KSU (a lot).  KSU got a guy nobody wants.  ku is on pace for a top 30, possibly top 25 recruiting class.  I guess KSU will soon turn on the charm and Prince will have KSU ahead of ku.

Is Prince planning on taking 30+ kids again this year?

    Knows What Brent Did...
Much like reproductive strategies of the Praying Mantis, Ron Prince intentionally signs a multitude of recruits with the knowledge that only a handful will survive until adulthood. Also, he eats some.
“My arm gets tired from doing this,” said coach Bill Snyder, waving his arm.

It's fracking June.  After following recruiting over the last few years, it seems to me it's better to wait until the season starts before you really start raking in some recruits(remember the train wreck that was the '07 class?) because things change with these kids so it's better to see how they look their SR years as opposed to their JR years.  There can be a big difference in performance/grades/injuries etc.

But all of the elite-level football schools are doing it...

USC (13)
http://usc.rivals.com/commitlist.asp?year=2009&sport=1&school=71

Texas (19)
http://texas.rivals.com/commitlist.asp

Kansas (10)
http://kansas.rivals.com/commitlist.asp

Oklahama (15)
http://oklahoma.rivals.com/commitlist.asp

et cetera...

If you want to hang with the big boys, you better get with it.  This is obvious.

Big difference if you are able to select who you want when you want as opposed to competing for who you want and not when you want.  On top of that, those schools selecting are picking from 4/5 stars while those schools competing are mostly ending up with 2/3 stars.  So in other words, if you are a school like USC or Texas, why not stack up early?  If one falls by the wayside because of an injury or grades in December, they will just pick the best recruit on the commit list from a school like Kansas to fill the slot.
Show me defense.
