Show me one other player on the PGA circuit who has the tantrums, poor sport attitude=throwing clubs, cussing, pissed off at someone in the entire gallery when they breathe and disrupt his HOLY concentration and gets the free pass that he gets?--what a complete PRIMA DONNA. How can you like this guy? Sure, go ahead and be in awe of his achievements I guess but how do you like the character behind the man?

Do you really think Jones or Snead or Hogan or Palmer or Nicklaus couldn't have done the SAME thing or better with the new technology? Evidently if you do you have no clue. I grew up playing the best clubs on the market in the late 60s--Hogan persimmon woods. Whoop de doo. Full swing and sweet spot with guys with huge swings=at best 250 yards. Completely changes the game. Jack Nicklaus was right when he said you cannot compare the eras. TW is a corporate robot money maker for everyone connected to him. Reminds me of the MJ sell-out when he ruled the world when he was king of the NBA. Quite frankly whatever he promoted I was determined never to buy because of his greed and overexposure. No diff today with TW.I wanted Rocco to knock him off his pedestal-guess I will have to wait.
If Tiger Loses...people will say it's because of his knee...give me a break folks. He is the best actor out there, he might be up there with Paul Pierce in trying to get an Academy Award. HE IS NOT THAT HURT!!!! All he has done is made people buy into all this crap so if he wins, they will say it is legendary, but if he loses...he'll have an excuse. Total joke, and I'm frankly tired of people talking about it. Poor Tiger, he has a hurt knee. He doesn't have anything torn, it just hurts him a bit (maybe)...Tiger is not a tough guy, never has been. Guys have played sports with broken legs, torn ligaments, etc....and that is being tough. He has no more pain that probably 50% of the rest of the people playing out there today. I guarantee a lot of those guys playing have regular pain in their knees just from aging and use. I understand how important that front knee is, but I'm sorry it is still golf....not baseball. In baseball that would be a lot more important and painful. Barry Bonds was hitting without any freaking cartilage in his right knee, and he had to run around the bases and outfield for an entire season. Tiger has to hit a golf ball and then....walk towards it.
He is a bad example for kids, and it causes those of us that try and teach and coach these kids a lot of problems. There is little doubt that he can play the game, and maybe I am just an old piece of crap, but acting like he does is not good for the game. By the way, his dad spent a year in my grandparents house, and my grandfather helped him get around the big 7 with as little damage as possible. So with the exception of his emotional outbreaks, I have a great deal of respect for him as well as his dad.
You don't understand my point. There is no doubt that he is the best player, and the hardest worker. The point he is missing is his behavior.If a kid playing in the State Jr. Golf meet this week at Stagg Hill were to do the things Tiger does. He would first be assigned a 2 shot pen., and the second would be DQ'ed. The USGA does not put up with such behavior, except from the pro's.Tiger has lifted the game, just like Jack and Arnie did. He influences millions of kids. They see him act that way, and they think they should be able to get away with the same thing. You are right, nobody is perfect, I guess that is Tiger's Flaw.
