apperantly after being named Big 12 Newcommer of the year Murphy developed quite an ego that clashed with ron's own ego throughout the winter. now this wasnt a problem in the spring because he was out because of grades but he has been taking classes throughout the summer but he hasn't been going to them. so finaly ron calls deon into his office and deon says "man i don't need &@#%ing class" and ron says "get the &@#% off my football team"

It is almost as if Prince doesn't know he's coaching the FOOTBALL TEAM.  I hate to be the grumpy old man, but sweet lord Snyder squandered some talent in his day, but this is getting ridiculous.  If we don't have Deon next year, then Freeman is in for a piss pounding because teams will be locking us down with their corners and daring us to take a 5 step drop and throw down field.  LOOK AT OUR RECEIVERS IF YOU TAKE AWAY DEON!  OMG! :angry: :banghead:

Do you know how depressed this news made me this morning.  Trish and I had a fight.  She said I never seem as upset or happy about anything as KSU sports.  I thought back to the Huggins hire (happy), the Huggins/Frank n 'Te thingy (disillusioned) and the Prince hire (depressed, reeling) to the Texas win (1st one, Delirious) and I can't really argue.

I lied and said that wasn't true.  What a scathing indictment of a young life lived.  Jesus, why hath Kansas State scorned me?

It was just a few days ago when Meek wrote on powerchat that Prince said that he was very pleased with the progress Murphy has been making in the classroom and is back on good terms.  It was from June 12. I hate to doubt your sources, but in 3 days I don't see how he all of a sudden stopped going to class for a long period of time.
