KSU folks outside of Manhattan, as most of us are not in Lawrence.

I was surprised there wasn't even any kind of admin announcement, though!

Especially since it hit parts of the actual campus ...

Folks, we need to talk about this more, so it will improve things . . . also, could the Admins put up some kind of "tacked" post about this, so again, we can all feel better about ourselves. 

Some of us at the KSU board live in Manhattan and don't have internet/electricity/trees in yard or complete roofs assholes.

The best thing for KSU would've been if it hit the stadium. Very few people go there and they could use the insurance money to clean up the litter box and get rid of the stench..

It's good to go (BOOYAH!). Drove past it this morning on my way to a 4 dollar mcdonalds breakfast combo. That seems like a lot of dough but I was slightly hungover and I kind of like the Sausage Mcmuffin w/ egg. BTW- McDonalds was still there.

Well I've been looking at some old Tornado info and I had almost forgotten about our beloved June 11, 2008 MHK outbreak.  This Tornado ended up being rated an EF4, which is incredibly &@#%ing scary on the Enhanced oh &@#% scale.  It means winds approached 200mph and created nearly total devastation.  (just shy of the EF5 Greensburg Tornado)

I went to MHK one time this year but I didn't have time to survey the damage area.  So how are things getting on around town?

The windows on Weber were finally replaced sometime between the nubb and ISU game.

Little Apple is being rebult, though they moved the staff to the old Kaup Furniture building which they fortunately bought the winter before.  Never heard about the three vehicles they couldn't locate after the storm though.

They've still been fixing campus this whole semester. A couple weeks ago they were doing roofing over by the nuclear reactor. Walking by that smelled like total crap because of this. Now, the entire back of Williard in the quad is being torn up and worked on. Not sure if that's from the tornader but still I don't think tKSU has fully recovered yet.
