60s - The Doors, Jimi Hendrix
70s - Humble Pie, Sweet, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Kiss
80s - Deep Purple (their best decade by far), AC/DC, Tesla
90s - Gov't Mule, The Riverdogs, Morphine, Masters of Reality, Nine Inch Nails
00s - N/A (no good music released this decade)

Lots of others too:  Jimmy Buffett & David Allen Coe would get honorable mentions in several decades for example.

THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME!
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Yep, have a couple Spacemen 3 albums. Playing with Fire is superb.

Have you listened to Songs in A&E yet? That's all I've been playing for the past week.

People bitching about the 80's have a very low  80'sMIQ, it was a wonderful time in (punk) rock music and I was lucky enough to have been a part of it.

Black Flag
Misfits
Minor Threat
Dag Nasty
D.R.I.
Bob Mould
Butthole Surfers
Bad Brains
Dead Kennedys

etc. etc. etc.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Either "Dream On" by Aerosmith or "Where the Streets Have No Name" by U2 is the unofficial official song of Kansas basketball.

Wow.  How did I miss Arcade Fire.  Also Radiohead for 00's is pretty good but they are another 90's/00's band.  the decade thing is way tougher now because of the number of late 90's bands.

if they stayed good going into the 2000's (through like 2002-2003) then go ahead and round them up into the 2000's. if not keepem in the 90's

60's:  The Who

70's into the early 80's (before things began to really suck):  AC/DC, U2, Def Leppard (1st 2 albums only!!), The Clash, Queen, The Fixx, a few odds and ends from Black Flag, Dead Kennedys and some others, Yes, SOME Rush.

Mid to Late 80's:  Outside of a few "few" songs to go retro on, suckage.

90's:  Early STP (before true radio overkill), U2 finally put out another decent album with Achtung Baby, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden.

00's:  Meh
