Brandon Bass Elite AAU Travel Team is loaded

Three weeks ago, we went to Baton Rouge, LA, and watched the Brandon Bass Elite Travel Team workout. Coach Skooter Owens has a hack of a team. I was very impress with several players we saw at the workout.

Reclassified senior 6'9 SF/P Latavious Williams of Starkville, MS, has received several offers already. Baylor University and Kansas State has been in to see this athletic stud workout.

We are waiting to hear which school he will decide on. Look for him to enroll at Progressive Christian Academy in Maryland this fall. 6'7 SF freshman Steel Davis is a phenom athlete. He can do it all on the court. This New Orleans native attended a prep school in Massachusetts last year. We are hearing he is planning to enroll in a school in Louisiana this fall.

By the way, Baylor, Kansas State, and DePaul have already put offers on the table for Steel too… 6'4 215 So J.J. Thomas of Scotlandville HS in Baton Rouge, LA, is another young phenom player on this talented team. Keep an eye out for 6'4 2G Jr Brandon Mitchell of Amite HS, LA. Brandon is already committed to LSU.

Other players on this team are 6'7 GF Jr Emery Kelly and his teammate 6'3 combo-guard Carl Blair of state champs Provine HS in Jackson, MS. What a talented team! They will also be at the Kingwood Classic Tournament in Houston. Put a check next to this team name.

good to hear that we are setting up solid ties with bass elite.  was steele davis at the classic?  i wish they would have included rosters.

Mitchell caught my eye in the Kingwood vids.  Would be an amazing walk-on for basketball.  Is he a WR or a QB in football?

 

EDIT: Now I'm not so sure it was Mitchell in the Kingwood vids.  I assumed it was the same 23, but when i looked back it had another name listed as 23 and Mitchell was nowhere on the roster list.  23 was really good at Kingwood.  Whomever it was.

I think someone listed him as a Safety but he played QB in HS.

I think the hope is Prince offers him and he walks on the hoops team.  He has football offers from 'Bama and ATM so he's probably out of Ronald's league otherwise.  He seemed very interested at the AAU thing from what I was told.

This is the best thing to ever fall into Prince's lap other than a stripper in his whole entire life.  He gets to make fans happy (for a &@#%ing change) and he gets to bring in a highschool recruit (also for a big &@#%ing change.)
