Lets get back on topic.  Recent picture of the "ku representative" walking into the student records office at Apex Academy in Pennsauken, NJ:

Where have I seen this guy before? Wait! I have it! He was leaving Frank Martin's office right after Jamar Samuels and Dominique Sutton (late of the prestigious Patterson School, alma mater of many of academia's elite) were finally declared eligible right around the end of the Fall 2007 semester. And he appeared mightily fatigued, as if he had put in a lot of work on something.

The Patterson School. I hear that's pretty much replaced Groton as the place where the landed gentry, the Old Money of the Ivy League scions, send their blue-blooded offspring nowadays. Entrance requirements are rather stringent, I hear, however. The Messrs. Samuels and Sutton must have a lot of pull somewhere.

Dominique Sutton. How old is that guy, anyway? 25? (Okay, that's exaggerating a little.) 23? 22?

Much younger than Brandon Rush is all that matters.

Attention Test Monitors if you see any of these men or men like them attempting to sign in as "Markieff Morris", please call the NCAA:

Weren't these guys also seen around Bowie High School. And National Christian Academy. And The Pendleton School. And Riverdale Baptist School. And Oak Hill Academy. And Notre Dame Preperatory School. Right around the same time Beas 'graduated' from each one?

Someone check that out and get back to me, huh?

Hey, Jamar or Dominique -- can you help me with something? I heard the Headmaster at The Patterson School was Busta Rhymes. Or was it Jay-Z?

I hear there's a killer rivalry between The Patterson School and Notre Dame Preperatory in Forensics. Maybe Beas bested Jamar and Dominique prior to becoming teammates in Manhattan?

you guys really should only worry about your incoming 1 and 2 star recruits.

as long as they qualify and live up to their potential, you should resume your rightful place near the bottom of the big 12.

I'll disagree, catdude33. If not a home run, t_hayjawk hit a long double off the center field wall with that post. The part about your team resuming it's rightful place near the bottom of the Big 12 was outstanding. Only I think he exaggerated slightly (being a wee bit too generous) in claiming your team's incoming recruits as 1 and 2 star recruits.

    The very best.
I've seen it all now. Smack from a chickenhawk.

Go cry to your 84-75, loser.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Haw, haw! No ku fan can remember the score of even one of the 47 whoopins the best team in the history of the Big 12 has put down on their woebegone in-state neighbors in the last 52 games. Like steppin' on an ant hill.

I also don't remember the score of the second round loss our woebegone in-state neighbors suffered at the hands of Wisconsin a few months ago. Except that it was huge.

Do you remember the score of the NCAA Tournament National Championship game? Or does it send you blubberin' when you do?

Frank Martin (high school coach), .500 record against World Champion Bill Self.

With Chalmers headed to the Association, I don't see any reason why that percentage won't continue in Frank's favor next year.

And we automatically become better by subtraction.

No Clent Stewart, no blake young = better team.

we'll hear that for the next 20 years.

i really think that we had an awful season.  all we were able to do was get a big 12 championship, win the big 12 tourney, get a 1 seed in the tourney, and win the national championship.  a team that can do all that yet lose to mighty k-state is underachieving and is a waste.  hopefully, next year we can beat our supposed rivals and get this monkey off our back.

    I'm impossible to fool.
They're critical to our team next year.  I'm confident that Lew will do what needs to be done, in order to ensure that they'll be on campus. Whatever that may be.

Now that, friends, is grade 'A' sarcasm. Nicely done, t_hayjawk.

(Looks like dax never expected the combined excellence of both my own and t_hayjawk's responses on this thread. Which left him scratchin' his arse for a suitable comeback. )
