Has any coach had this much of a swing in public perception this quick without coaching a single game?

He went from "who?" to savior in about a week last December. Until two weeks ago, he could do no wrong in the eyes of many.

Now, I'm sure many KSU fans hold Jim Wooldridge in higher regard than Prince.

I've bagged on him because of his assistant hires and recruiting, but his popularity plummet in the last couple of weeks has been incredible.

Are you saying the 'plummet' is undeserved?

Or do you just find it funny that his screwups are stronger than the koolaid people have been drinking?

Lots of people can't seem to resist a chance to show off when they think they know something. Or they bust out the Cannonball info because they feel that they need to win an argument. My only concern is that these people are leaking information so sensitive that it could compromise the team in a significant way. There's a lot of information of that kind in the Cannonball, you know.
