What you really miss is winning.  If Snyder ran a WCO during DOD and Prince brought the option in, you'd say you missed the WCO.
Once you get past the ethics, the rest is easy.

The point about winning is valid.  But I also miss some QB run game; whether that be inside/outside veer, speed option, counter read, or even a Jeff Schwinn draw.

I understand our philosophy on offense and I think its sound.  But also, especially in today's game, no reason you couldn't add some QB run game and compliment what we do.  Now I don't want Josh running veer or option, but we could easily add some counter read or draws to what we do.  Doesn't have to be a ton, 3-5 true QB run attempts per game would be plenty to add and still protect Josh.

:yuck:  The Jeff Schwinn draw was an abortion.  Bill should have refunded the money of everyone attendance during the Marshall game that had to watch that.  The worst QB option'ers were as follows:

1 - Jeff Schwinn ( :curse: )
2 - Marc Dunn (I never figured out what he was supposed to be good at)
3 - Dylan Meier (#3 terriblest option'er, but #1 FP)
4 - Allen Webb/Evridge (it's a tie because Webb did that stupid stutter step that never worked and AE got knocked the f*ck out at least once a game)
5 - Adam Helm (thanks for the @ ISU game though)

Webb did one heck of a job with the option against NU and in a few other games.  He just was very inconsistent and wasn't a great thrower.

And Schwinn running the draw 5 or so times vs Marshall while Sproles got 30 carries would've been fine.  The problem was somehow the gameplan was to make it the Jeff Schwinn coming out party and he didn't make it.

I was going to say...Are you over 16? because you sure don't look like it.  Who can remember anything like football games when you are six?  Back then I was just worried about watching ants walk around or watching grass grow.

I remember the players walking out of the tunnel with the white shoes and purple socks for that OSU game and poke the guy 2 rows in front of me in the back of the head. He got mad when he turned around and I was clapping and he was still getting poked.

I miss Ell and all, but please refrain of posting pictures of him from that particular game.  There are only 2 rules.

1.  No Sirr Parker
2.  No Ell from the Fiesta Bowl

There's a new sheriff in town.
I don't miss the option as much as I miss the athletes we had to run it.
Damn we had some studs.

Plus, don't know it's official name, but the fake-option then pass...my favorite play of all time!

But it was more than that. It was awesome to see the DBs say "oh crap" when they saw Beas, Ell or Bish dropping back from the option.

I know how you feel.  It is kind of like how Bramlage didn't do the awesomeness of the 'Gon 'O Doom until _fan came up with a fitting name.  Suggestions for improvement?
