What is the best gun/attachment combo and why.



I use the M-4 with stopping power and deep impact, I'm only at level 38 so I still have a lot to go.

Most kills ever so far is 20, average is probably around 8 per game.  Slightly more in domination games.


I've tried the AK and the G-36C but like the m4 the best.  maybe I need the G-36 with double tap or something because it doesn't seem to kill as fast as the m4 does.


what do you guys like the best.


Of course this varies by level, like vacant I use the little ak gun, and creek I use an assault rifle with a scope,  but just in general which do you like.

only use the G36 when you get really good at head shots. The best combo is the M16, stopping power, red dot sight. If you want to have fun, turn on the grenade launcher, the explosion power thing, and play hardcore.

I'm horrible at aiming, I go for fastest clip unload and bandolier so I have lots of ammo. 


M16 3 shot burst kills me, I'm dead by the time I squeeze out the 2nd burst.

Its all about the g-36 red dot scope on hardcore with claymores, last stand, and uav jammer. All i ever use, 1 shot 1 kill. I almost use it as a sniper rifle the range is so good. When not playing hardcore i go with the rambo set. PS whatever its called gun, 3 gernades, extra health, and matrydom. Great for running around causing mayhem.

I get the worst sniper rifle on the game and act like an utter retard trying to crouch behind a fence.  i miss terribly, and then get killed. 

I use last stand and kill the fracker back though, he doesn't even see it coming.  Win/win.

I finally tried M16 with stopping power and deep impact, red dot and bandolier.  Had 12 kills in a row at one point.  Awesome.


Also does deep impact only help you through walls???

deep impact is stupid, trust me.  when you are leveled up enough, just use extreme conditioning, juggernaut, and frag x 3.

Don't use juggernaut. Use Stopping power. My goal is to kill people. Not run away.

extreme conditioning let's you get into position before the enemy, stopping power is useless if you can shoot.

Yeah, I have to have stopping power.  But stopping power with the m16 is pretty much hit and kill.

I have no idea how the hell people use the G36, I've tried and tried to use it and get nowhere with it.


AK is my second fav probably.

I use p90 in levels like vacant, sometimes china town but overall the m16 is the best for me by far.  I wish I'd been using it longer.  I still can't get long kill streaks going, I've only gotten to call like 4 choppers.


Anyone have any suggestions on how to get to 5 in a row consistantly without dying?

I try and max out every gun to get the 1000 point bonus.   The G36, sniper rifles, scorpion, uzi and the first POS submachine gun are tough to do unless you play them in hardcore mode....much easier to get a kill.


In hardcore, I almost always use UAV jammer.


The best gun in the game is the .50 sniper rifle.  I like to pair it up with the M16 red-dot in overkill mode.

ya, just find a nice spot and be patient, let the bad guys come to you.

In all honesty, being good isn't about what weapon you have. Just be patient. You don't always need to be running. Wait for people to come. Be aware of your surroundings- know where people are and where you can take cover at. Oh yeah, don't be afraid to take cover. Never go too far away from some decent cover. Expecially on a level like Bog. If you're getting beaten by someone with a gun, get them into a closer range to stab them. And perhaps one of the biggest tips- steal other people's kills. When you see someone shooting, shoot whatever they are shooting. This is good for the team and your kill numbers.

yeah, I'm not patient, especially in team death match.  I should also use more silencer's but I hate the iron sights.

I quit trying in online multiplayer action and just beat the single player campaign.  It felt so good.
