One of the few grocery items where the name brand is WAAAY better than the store brand.  And crunchy kicks creamy's ass!

Also, never buy PB at Aldi's.  Just trust me on this one.

Creamy is good for sandwiches. Crunchy is good for eating peanut butter with a spoon. Both are a necessity in the kitchen pantry.

My wife thinks I'm crazy for doing this.  Glad I'm not alone in my opinion.

Cruchy tears up the bread when you try to spread it.  And its gross tasting.

I buy the Sara Lee bread.  Its very high quality. Really soft and delicious, yet very spread friendly and tough.

Don't get me started on Sara Lee bread.  (think the exact opposite of the "experiment" at the end of Supersize Me)

Mrs. Baird's > Sara Lee

And totally agree on PB being one of the few items in which name brand >>>>> store brand. Great observation imo.

i dabbled in those waters once.  i opened the jar to find almost an inch of water/oil/nasty liquid sh*t that had separated from the rest of the pb.  you couldn't even mix in w/ the rest of the pb...  sadly i still ate it.   :yuck:

Nothing that bad happened to me when I had my Aldi's pb experience.  It just tasted like total crap.  Too much rat turd I think.  That is the only jar of pb I've ever thrown out.
