You can't be racist and like basketball.
Emphasis on preventing turnovers on offense, creating turnovers on defense, and big special teams plays.

Those can be great equalizers for teams with mediocre to bad offenses and defenses.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Honestly, though.....I think it could be our defense/schedule.

Yeah, if one or two of those juco DE's pan out and Garvin, Moran, and Echols get their crap together, and Raheem knows what he's doing, defense could be the strength of the team.

Until then, ST is our strength.

I've always liked watching teams that put emphasis on ST.  They can truly change a game if you are outclassed on offense or defense.

That story with the explanation of a strip drill was just RIVETING....I've never known how to strip a football before...but now, thanks to that "inside info"...I'm much more informed.

FWIW, I meant for this to apply to like...MAC teams, not I-AA teams.

Also, I was way ahead of the GP curve.

Well I think Coach Parrish and the Kids fully plan on winning games with Special Teams ... we'll bore the other team to death with the offense, and bend but don't quite always break defense and then Tora, Tora, Tora with the Special Teams.

"page one from the book of Snyder"

Didn't Snyder do a re-write of that book right around 2000-2001?

QFT!  (although our defense isn't mediocre)

Thanks, Ron!
