Those 14 can't practice til they pass their conditioning test.   Get to work boys.  Prince is no Mr Softy.

Holy crap.

Who needs an OL or RB, anyway?

Wasn't Watts practicing, too?

Good move by Prince. These guys need to get their crap together.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    THE b IS NOT CAPITALIZED
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

KC sports station reported that there were 14 players that did not pass this test.  They did not give any names, so i am not 100 percent if they are all accurate.  Another poster rattled off the names, but with no link, so take it for what it is worth.

Catfan said it was a correct list.

One thing i think that was reported false is that the players can practice, just not with the first teamers.  They made it sound like those 14 guys would not be practicing at all, which does not appear to be the case now.

According to the Salina Journal, players that failed were only allowed to practice Saturday.

I really don't know what to make of the entire thing.

Watts has had a busted hip.  Rehab is a long process Prince should know this.  I can not believe they wouldn't cut him a little bit of slack.

Kyle Williams is with the 1st team, but he is a strong safety, wheras Watts is a free safety

I don't think Coach Prince is doing this to "punish" anyone, but to make sure no one gets heat exhaustion. It isn;t a shocker that so many lineman struggled, but it is a shocker that WR Moreira, RB Anders, & CB Garvin, all 4.4 (or faster) guys did!

Now that would be extremely flawed logic.

Agreed...it sounds like this is the same test that's always been given...it's only now that the results are being made public.

You would think these guys would be doing everything they could to show up in the best shape of their lives, trying to win some time on the field.  Freakin' prima donnas probably been shoveling down KATPAKs all summer long and swinging off of roofs with hotmops.
 :ku:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

You mean some players showed up out of shape?  No way.  This news is almost as shocking as the news that roughly ten percent of the team is having academic issues.  I was totally expecting our team to be anomalous in each of these regards.

so much for all those bs stories we  have been getting shoved down our throats about how Prince is doing a great job motivating the team and what not.  A m otivated team, a team that is excited and wants to win doesn't have nearly 1 out of 5 players show up so out of shape they can't pass the physical.

and by the way, there is so really really bad sh8t coming down the pike.  I have  word from a really good source that several more players are about ready to quit, one is a qb, the other is  our vip player on offense.  I won't give out any names to protect them but the bottom line is that they all hate prince.  If any of these defections come to pass we are looking at 3-4 win year at best.

Which stories?

Link?

Dude, the news about Harrison Beck is already out.
