clemente and kelly didn't quit after 10 games. that is a bizarre/stupid decision that speaks to either being stupid, selfish or uncompetitive.
that aside, kelly's laziness might be worth the risk because of his upside (too early to tell really). clemente's situ doesn't compare. he smokes, bfd. no on-court risk, plus he was a proven high-major contributor.
maymon has done nothing to indicate he's worth the risk. lol @ comparing him to sutton/samuels. he isn't that kind of player at all. not athletic, not a defender. he's an undersized, skilled, strong post scorer, working on a jumpshot. that might be valuable to some teams, but it doesn't translate to a top 50 recruit. he should have been about 50 spots lower. i don't think he's worth the risk/trouble.
