Very Confusing Thread

I thought that Lawrence, Kansas was a world renowned cosmopolitan center of art and culture?  I find it hard to believe that people from a large eastern city such as Philadelphia would consider people from Lawrence to even remotely resemble other residents of the state of Kansas. 

Thread summary: ku'ers, your town sucks as bad as or worse than any other Midwestern college town.  East/West Coasters still thumb their noses at you and everything you stand for.  You are not Cambridge and you are certainly not Berkley.

Was interesting when they did that vid of Manhattan and showing only the pasture/water towers...I thought if they didn't show the Powercat on the water tower, that could be Lawrence they were illustrating.
