awesome. very easy to drink scotch, a great one to "learn" on. don't expect the half gallon bottle of crawfords on your grandpa's bar to taste quite the same, or at all similar, for that matter. costs roughly $75 a bottle and should be drank either neat or with 1 or 2 ice cubes, no fruit to accompany. if you need to start the bottle with more ice then gradually decrease how much ice you add as you get used to the taste that may be a good idea, as the ice will water down the scotch. i have some friends that exclusively drink scotch and it's always straight up.
if you decide you like it and want a more affordable bottle with a very similar taste, try balvenie doublewood 12 yr, which will set you back $35-$40 per 1/5th.
enjoy.
