I like Gottlieb. I think he is forthright and knowledgeable. He also is favorable towards the Big 12.

The guy who buys me is Seth Davis. He seems like a good enough guy, but he just doesn't add much to the CBS broadcast.

He and Clark Kellogg were asked before the tournament to name 4 spoilers that would go further than were expected.  He named four teams, USC, Arizona, were two of them. I don't recall the other two.  All four of them lost in the first round.

How did he land that job?
