Hey Ma B-eazy I wanted to say thanks for being so down to earth I had a friends daughter run into not to long ago from Emporia, She was a umm other Ks fan if you know what I mean, sorry I never got up there to meet you had major neck and brain surgery not to long ago, had to give up a few tickets and never made it up to Manhappening still stuck pretty much in the house, Beaz and ol Billy made this a fun year I kind of won and lost with the team being stuck in bed like I was but no matter what happens basketball was good for atleast one year and we support you all not matter what you all decide, I wish I could have made it up there to talk with you in person who knows maybe someday, god bless... :eyeseeyou:

No matter what decision is made(although I'm sure one has already been made) good luck to you and yours.

Thanks for being a part of our community.

The big question is:  What's the plan?  I know you and Lil' Mike are going to sit down and talk about it, but I'd really like to know your thoughts.

We have been blessed by both you and Lil' Mike being here and giving us a lot to look forward too, and even though it didn't pan out this season, it would be good to know what is going through your mind.   I realize this question is asked many times, and I realize you've made no decision, but certainly, you've pondered the what if's and what advice do you as a mom of such a young and talented man, say?

I third that sentiment.  Let the Beasley/Smith family deal with this on their own terms.  That said, I hope every KSU fan appreciates what a wonderful season this has been.  We will most likely never see another player like Mike don the purple and white.  Win or lose, it was always fun to watch.  Thank you, Fatima, for letting us see a more intimate side of your family's life.  We'll all be pulling for your family to be well, regardless of where next year finds you.  Mike, Bill, Jake, Ron, (Clent, but he doesn't belong in this group, he's been making Wildcat fans proud for years now.)  Blake, Dom, Darren, etc. have made KSU basketball an exciting event this year, something we haven't been able to say for over a decade.  Best of luck to all of our players who are moving on, and here's to next year.  I honestly believe this year was the beginning of the resurgence of KSU basketball.

Thanks Fatima for being a part of this board.   We all knew Mike was going to be a great player for us, but he exceeded all of our expectations.    He represented himself and this university so well.

Best of luck to Mike, you and your family in the future.   All of us are B-Easy fans 4 life.  :notworthy:

Thanks so much for everything.  I sincerly hope that whatever decision is made is best for Mike and the rest of your family.  I am so glad you took the time to experience our town and university.  You have become a great fan and ambassador of K-State.  Bad thing about purple pride is that it's a ailment that has no cure.  I'll warn you right now, later in your life, you will reflect on this time and smile.

P.S. when you and Mike are next interviewed about Manhattan; could you please take a second to draw a picture of the town through your eyes.  Certainly, it's not D.C., L.A. or even K.C.  But according to CBS's piece, it apparently is a field, a cattle pen, and a water tower.  I haven't been to the Little Apple for a couple of weeks, but I'm pretty sure they have buildings, electricity, running water, indoor plumbing, and a great university filled with great people.

Have a blessed remainder of the school year.  Hope the rest of the crew is doing well.  Mychaela, love the scooter, but as a rider, I encourage you to take the MSF safety course.  Not only will it help you to develop your riding skills, but it will make you a better driver regardless of how many wheels you are on.

Thank you for the way that your family has represented Kansas State with such a bright spotlight being shined on you and your family.  It has been fantastic to watch Mike on and off the court.  It's not often that you find someone that handles their business off the court as they do on.

Mom B-Eazy,

Is Mike ready to send shockwaves through the college basketball world by announcing that he is playing at KSU for the next 3 years?  It would be a great example for the young kids who look up to athletes like Mike.

What if "being like Mike" included getting a college degree?  What if your son was the poster boy for all that is right in college athletics?  What if Mike walked across a stage to grab a diploma before he grabbed an NBA jersey?

Or, Mike could declare, sign a huge contract, make tons of money and just forget about all of that idealistic nonsense.  Can't blame him if that's his choice.
Welcome back, Bill.

lol....

large sums of money,

or

working in a lame office with co-workers you hate getting a measley lunch break while driving some POS car to work in rush hour traffic. chances are your boss will be knob and make you work late when youre supposed to be going out with your friends. youll have to work there long enough just to SNIFF a decent vacation, and by the time you get enough days off to relax, you want to quit. then the cycle starts all over again. this time, across town. one thing will be the same though. not having 14-20 guaranteed millions of dollars.

We all know there's been a conspiracy. Only the failures have been recorded.

Everyone needs to face the facts.  Until there is an Olive Garden in Manhattan, our best basketball players will continue to leap at the first opportunity to go to the NBA.

They are all selfish reasons.  Undeniably selfish reasons from ksu fans who wouldn't make the same decision they are asking Mike to make.  If Mike played for ku, would those same people still want him to stay for all those "honorable and rational reasons"?  Hell no.  KSU fans want him to stay because he played for KSU, not because there would be any "honor" in it.

Ma-Beaz,

Thank you to you and your entire family for a very memorable year in KSU athletics.  Where ever Mike ends up playing next season, I know that we will see wonderful things from him on the court.  And although they won't be as publicized (unfortunately so), I know we'll hear of the wonderful person he continues to be off the court.  God gave him amazing talent, but his mother and his family have made him an amazing person.

Good luck, God bless, and thanks for the memories.

PS - If Mike finds himself in "the league" next season, watch out for those telefund folks.  They will definitely be calling.   :D

Yeah, getting a degree is completely selfish.   It has no value and no worth despite what you're taught when you grow up.   It is completely selfish to think he shouldn't stay, get his degree which will help him with future business decisions considering how much wealth he'll have.

Lord knows people with degrees suck.

The only reason he should stay if he wants a college ball legacy.  He can't comeback and get a final four after he goes pro.  College won't make him any more money.  Bill would benefit from a degree more than Mike.
