Oh, go fray your visor some more.

What do you think will happen to Bill?  Makes the league, or goes late and ends up in Europe?

LOL @ the 'tards that don't think Bill has at least a coin-flip shot at being a late first round pick this year.

Both will return to KSU.
Mission not yet accomplished.

KSU wins National Championship by 26 over Roy's Boy's in Tyler Hamsterblower's senior year.

Mike signs the most lucrative shoe contract ever for a college basketball player.  He plays 12 years in the NBA for a poorly run franchise, but makes the All-Star game in 9 of those years.  He goes on to write childrens books, in his adopted hometown of Manhattan.

Lil Tiff ends up playing basketball for new coach Nicole Ohlde and leads KSU to a womens national championship.  Will be the first time that a brother and sister have been the NPOY, MVP of the tournament.

Bill goes late first round to whatever team got OJ Mayo this year.  The talented tandem end up winning 2 NBA rings.

Tyler Hansbrough signs with Lipton to endorse tea bags.  It turns out to be one of the greatest marketing campaigns ever.  Each week, Tyler will recount how it felt to be dunked on...In Turkish!!!

In order to make an informed prediction, I need intel.  Has anyone spotted Mike and/or Bill in class today?  If they are already missing classes......  :crybaby:

In fact, we should start a running topic for keeping track of Mike and Bill classroom sightings.

Beasley won't stay and really shouldn't. Not when you're the #1 guy in a stacked draft.

Walker should stay but really won't. Not when you know you're numbers will go down without a guy like Beasley helping out in the other spot. Also, I don't think Walker cares for college at all.

Where, precisely, does this "common knowledge" that BW doesn't like college come from?  Has he told you that personally or are you basing your assumption on his comments last year about the new NBA rule and college not being for everyone?

I can't tell you what sports show I heard it on, but Walker has stated he really likes college life and that K-State is a lot of fun.

Some of you people are either hoping they'll leave or wishing it for it, but I'm not.  I WANT THEM TO STAY and build a modern legacy at K-State.

Nothing make me happier than watching squawks, horns, and trojan fans look sad of what we got.

I recall him saying similar things but we're continually assured by the folks here that he hates college, hates Manhattan, and hates KSU.  Interesting ... or not.

Inside information:

Mike really wants to stay and would but his mother is pushing him hard to go $$$$$. Not a good chance from what I hear. He REALLY likes it here and LOVES being in college at KSU and doesn't want grow up and join the real world yet. Momma is pushing him hard though and a mother's voice is a hard one to ignore...I can understand though because I'd tell my son not to chance an injury or possible fall in the draft next year.

My source said that Bill is hard to read and this person isn't as close. "He knows that another year would do good for him, but he's just so hard to read and with his injury history...". (nothing new here). He/She had not clue what he's doing.

My 'source' is VERY close family friend of the Martin's and the other assistants and Frank is very open with his friends about things. He/She didn't know much about recruiting though but said that they (Frank, Anya, 'source' and Dolonte) went to a MHS game and he was scouting someone there...have no idea if it was from MHS or the team they were playing. He/she named another school that they were going to but I can't think of it and he/she didn't know names. He/She did say that Frank and Anya were very down to earth and great people but they don't really discuss bball all that much.

FYI, Mrs. Smith has said on several occasions that this is Mike's decision and if/when they make a decision, it will be done as a family, but she will do whatever Mike wants to do.

She has said that 'publicly', yes. I'm sure it will be a "family" decision, but my source said that she is pushing him one way. Ultimately, it's his decision, but when your mom says something, especially when you are young, you will likely listen. If she is pushing him, which I have no reason to believe other wise, then I would argue that she has his (and his families) best interest  in her heart. Risk vs Reward when he is close to the highest he can get going into the NBA. There is some other personal stuff that I can't share though about the situation, but his mom is doing what I'd do if I would be in their situation.

what is she going to say?  "I'm telling him to go pro, Bitches!"  They have to keep up appearances.  They're gone.  I'm not mad at them, but I am frustrated that they keep saying that there is a decision to make.  Make millions or live in a dorm.  Hmm......

I'm just passing the information along. Looking back, I wish I would have stayed in school longer because I had so many great experiences (even with the ramen noodles and pizza shuttle 7 days a week) since I couldn't afford better. Of course a 60k job a year isn't the millions he would postpone a year, but I'm sure its on his mind. He's moved around so much and finally he found a place where he's truly happy and enjoying life and feels like he belongs....does money buy that when it will be their next year barring injury?
