(assuming Beaz and Walker go to the Association)

I'm thinking Anderson and Pullen will split about even on the year ~ 12 pts a game.

Pullen should be closer to 15.  Samuels could be a good scorer too.  Time will tell.  Tyree could also do some heavy lifting.

Pullen really can't shoot that well though.  Hope he improves.

Pullen is a way better shooter then he showed this year I think in his mind every mistake was magnified to the point he was looking over his shoulder after every missed shot that wears on you as the season goes on if he had his coaches confidence I think it would have gone a lot better for him and the team. dont trust me you will see for yourself

very stupid opinion.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

i could see pullen being the leading scorer.  some growth and maturity isn't going to hurt him.

We haven't been without one in the past five years, in Hoskins and Massey.  Beane and Hatcher were also great.  Mitch was so-so.

It's worth a lot....IF you can tell us more about that statement.  I'd love to know more about that deal.

Well sure.  I respond similarly when douche bags throw out things like "Jordy didn't have any stars."  So, I know what you mean, and respect your point.

However, in basketball all you need to do is land one as frequently as 15% of the time and you can impact a program in a huge way.  Watch Mario Little next year.

ksu has had more decent/good juco players than decent/good hs players in the last 20 years.  not even close.

Exactly.

I agree with the Ron Prince recruiting theory...just think it is being used in the wrong sport.

Holy cow!!! I can't believe Clemente is not mentioned in this argument! Like Frank says, this guy is "phenomenal". Our  outside scoring is going to go through the roof when he takes the floor. Add Samuels to the mix and I say next years team is going to be incredible on D and will flat out bring it from the perimeter as well. We'll be alright.

His shot is not as outstanding as you're hoping, he'll be good, though.

ksu will have 2 midgets on the perimeter to go with the worst defender on the team.  then sutton, who still doesn't understand how to play defense, and is hard to keep on the court anyway, since he can't hit a jumpshot to save his life.  on the inside - kent, colon, anderson are all subpar defenders.  add samuels, who weighs about 50 pounds less than he needs to to be able to defend a big 12 post.

fortunately, martin is a defensive genius.  he's going to have to be.
