Okay, right upfront, the only relationship of this post to ku basketball is that it involves my daughter Laura, a freshman at ku who never misses a game.
Laura and one other girl/ku student are among the finalists competing for inclusion in the Big 12 Conference 2009 swimsuit calendar which will raise money for breast cancer research. The calendar won't go on sale for several months, but right now, there are 31 girls from within the conference competing for the 12 spots in the calendar. Laura (actually both ku girls) needs A+ ratings from as many ku supporters as possible to get in.

I apologize to anyone who is offended by such a self-serving post. If it were for myself, I wouldn't do it. But, then again, no one would want to see me in a swimsuit calendar.
